Joint operation leads to arrest in drugs, guns and money seizure

ALLENDALE – Officers with state, regional and local law enforcement agencies recently executed search warrants at two Allendale homes, seizing drugs, guns and money. 

 

Bobby Jones Jr., 31, of Allendale, was charged with trafficking cocaine and unlawful possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

 

On May 1, 2015, officers searched 169 Graham St. and 3248 Bluff Road, both located within the Allendale city limits. In each of the homes, multiple weapons, including marijuana, crack-cocaine and cash was seized. Jones was found inside a Graham Street residence and was subsequently arrested.

 

Members of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Allendale Police Department and the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office were involved in this joint effort.

 

Mr. Jones is presumed innocent unless convicted in a court of law.
