Burton man sentenced to 20 years for sexually assaulting young girls
BEAUFORT (July 14, 2015) – A Burton man pleaded guilty today to sexually assaulting two girls and was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison.
Julio Ontiveros-Carrillo, 41, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor in connection to a 2006 case in which he sexually assaulted two sisters, ages 6 and 7 at the time of the incidents.
The sexual assaults were disclosed in 2014 and Ontiveros-Carrillo was subsequently arrested.
Judge Marvin Dukes handed down the sentence.
