ATF Offers Reward for Fugitive in Allendale, S.C.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of fugitive Joseph Frank.

Joseph Frank was present during a January 2016 incident in which an Estill, S.C., law enforcement officer was shot twice and severely wounded. Frank was indicted on Federal firearms violations and has been a fugitive since April 2016. He is believed to be hiding in the Allendale or Hampton County, S.C., areas. He is a documented “Gangster Disciple” gang member and should be considered armed and dangerous. The Allendale Police Department had previously seized several firearms from Frank’s Allendale, S.C. residence. This violent crime is being investigated by ATF, the Allendale Police Department, Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, Estill Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service, and U.S. Attorney’s Office.
