Stone talks criminal justice reform

Solicitor Duffie Stone and National District Attorney Association President Duffie Stone sits down with CBN News to discuss criminal justice reform following the death of George Floyd.

The legal case against the four Minneapolis police officers involved in the Floyd’s death is still in the early stages. Some are already urging caution as the prosecution gets underway.

Stone says improved guidelines surrounding use of force laws is badly needed.

“Talking to a number of district attorneys who’ve made charges against police officers, that’s been one of the things that has slowed them down. It’s not a question of whether or not they’re going to charge the officer criminally, it’s with what,” he told CBN News.
