BEAUFORT, SC (June 15, 2016) – An 18-year-old Beaufort County teen was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years in prison in connection to a 2015 shooting death of another teenager.
Geoni Najee Clark pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for his role in the death of 18-year-old William Kareen Major.
On Jan. 7, 2015, Clark had Major meet with him on Kinlock Road with the intention of stealing a handgun.
During the hold-up, Major was shot multiple times and was later found in a church parking lot on Keans Neck Road.
Assistant Solicitor Hunter Swanson was the case’s prosecutor.
Circuit Court Judge Michael Nettles handed down the sentence.
