The Everyday Heroes 5K Run/Walk on June 10 will benefit Hope Haven of the Lowcountry, the area’s child advocacy and rape crisis center.
The goal of this race is to raise awareness about childhood sexual and physical abuse, as well as raise funds to provide direct services to children and their families who are beginning their journey to healing from the abuse/trauma.
Hope Haven and the Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office believe that we are all “Everyday Heroes” when we work together as a community to keep our children safe.
The race will begin at 6 p.m. in front of the Bluffton Police Department and take place on the Buckwalter Place Greenway Trail. The trail will be well marked and volunteers with water will be located along the route.
The race will be professionally chipped timed by the Palmetto Running Co.
